<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an intake amount with high accuracy by cooling an actuator controlling to open/close an intake valve, in a variable valve engine in which the intake valve controlled to be opened/closed to adjust the intake amount is disposed to a cylinder head of an engine body, and an intake system with no throttle valve is connected with an intake port formed in the cylinder head. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator 60 is disposed to an engine body 22 so that an intake valve is controlled to be opened/closed.
