PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method of the strength of concrete for obtaining a plurality of measurement data at the same location and accurately grasping compressive strength, or the like without greatly damaging a concrete structure at low costs by calculating the compressive strength of concrete by press force applied vertically to a concrete surface. SOLUTION: Press force from a vertical direction is increased continuously and applied from a steel rod 2 that is a stiff rod body to one surface of concrete 1 in the concrete structure. The press force per unit area (bearing strength) in the contact area between the steel rod 2 and concrete 1 at an inflexion point where bearing breakdown occurs in the concrete 1 is measured. The measurement value is fitted to the correlation between the concrete strength and the bearing strength, thus calculating the strength of the concrete 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
