PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for improving the total S/N ratio from the output of a light receiving element to integration by an integrator. SOLUTION: A threshold operation circuit 208 receives the output of a photodiode 207, outputs a first signal at timing for starting to receive the output, and outputs a second signal at timing where the output exceeds a prescribed threshold. An integration means starts first integration processing according to the first signal, ends the first integration processing according to the second signal and outputs a first integration result, and performs a second integration processing having a different polarity from that of the first integration processing to the first outputted integration result until a prescribed value.
