PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TIG welding wire for post heat treatment of high-tension steel, with which a weld metal having high strength, being free from SR embrittlement, and having high toughness can be obtained, even when applied to the weld zone receiving a PWHT for a long period of time in a high-tension steel of a tensile strength class≥720 N/mm<SP>2</SP>. SOLUTION: The TIG welding wire for post heat treatment of high-tension steel contains, in mass%, 0.05-0.15% C, 0.2-1.1% Si, 1.5-2.4% Mn, 0.15-0.55% Mo, 0.05-0.20% Ti,≤0.15% Ni, and 0.002-0.05% Al.
