PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker apparatus capable of controlling the direction of emission of an acoustic wave, and provided with a port smaller substantially than a conventional one. SOLUTION: The port 5 has a shape to be obtained by cutting a port in the shape of a columnar tube by a plane comprising the center of the circle of a cross section. This cut surface is constituted of a tabular plane plate as an inner wall. The port 5 is formed so that its cross section extends exponentially from its center part to openings. Moreover, the inner wall of the port extends into a hornlike shape near the tip of each opening, and is connected with the bottom surface of a cabinet 3. Air emitted from the port 5 is radiated in the front direction of the speaker apparatus by a guide 8 smoothly.
