PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of reducing a control load compared with a conventional one, simultaneously improving the working rate of the game machine and effectively preventing the lowering of the sales of a game parlor. SOLUTION: A slot machine is provided with a plurality of reels, a lottery means drawing the winning/failure of an internal winning of a prescribed role, and a reel stop control means capable of stopping the reels based on a reel stop operation by a player and including a reel automatic stop control means automatically stopping the rotation of the reels after a lapse of a predetermined reel automatic stop time from starting the game. The reel automatic stop control means is provided with a setting means setting the symbol positions of the reels based on the situation of the reels after the lapse of the automatic stop time, and a prior determination means previously determining whether a role is formed or not based on the symbol positions of the reels set by the setting means before the automatic stop; and when the prior determination means previously determines that the role is not formed, automatically stops the reels.
