PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for bathing which enables even a caregiver with little physical force to easily perform a tilting operation for a backrest part with a small amount of force and saves labor relating to care work. SOLUTION: The wheelchair 1 for bathing comprises: a carriage part 3 capable of traveling; the backrest part 5 pivotally attached to the carriage part 3; a seat part 6 provided on the backrest part 5; and a tilting means 16 for making it possible to tilt the backrest part 5 between a prescribed erected position and a prescribed inclined position to the carriage part 3. The wheelchair 1 for bathing is provided with a tilting support means 42 for supporting the forward and backward tilting operation of the backrest part 5 performed by the caregiver by making energizing force in the direction of tilting the backrest part 5 act on the backrest part 5 in the process that the backrest part 5 is at the prescribed erected position or near the prescribed erected position and making energizing force in the direction of erecting the backrest part 5 act on the backrest part 5 in the process that the backrest part 5 is at the prescribed inclined position or near the prescribed inclined position.
