<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO methanizing catalyst, capable of accelerating a CO methanizing reaction in a low temperature region, a CO removing catalyst device and a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel reforming apparatus 10 equipped with a reforming device main body 12 for reforming a hydrocarbon raw fuel 11 for a fuel cell to form a hydrogen-containing reformed gas 13 being a fuel gas, a CO modifying catalyst part 14 for modifying CO in the modified gas 13 and a CO removing catalyst device 16 for removing CO remaining after the modification of CO to obtain the fuel gas 15 supplied to the fuel cell (not drawn in Fig.), the CO removing catalyst device 16 is composed of a CO selective oxidizing catalyst part 16-1 and a CO methanizing catalyst part 16-2. The CO methanizing catalyst used in the CO methanizing catalyst part 16-2 is composed of an active component for methanizing CO in the gas and a carrier which carries the active component and has at least an acid center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
