PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus that can prevent the garbled output of the text of an email and can reduce memory capacity. SOLUTION: When an email is received (YES in S11), if the language that is used in the text of the received email is other than a first language and a second language, a forwarding mail address is read out (S15), the mail address read out is added to the received email, and the email is forwarded (S17).
