PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which limits copying of confidential documents, important documents and the like without lowering processing efficiency. SOLUTION: When judging that the image forming device is instructed to read through an operating panel (S11: YES), the image forming device performs a reading process (S12) and stores image data obtained in an image memory (S13). The image forming device transfers the image data to an image processing section (S14), judges whether a spacific pattern is detected or not (S15). When the specific pattern is detected (S15: YES), the image forming device transfers the image data stored in a replacement image storage section to an image forming section (S18: YES). When the specific pattern is not detected (S15: NO), the image forming device transfers the image data input to the image forming section. The image forming section performs an output process on the basis of the image data transferred to the image forming section (S19). The image forming device judges whether an output page is a last page or not (S20). When judging that the page is not the last page (S20: NO), the device returns processing to Step S12.
