<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side airbag device mounting structure capable of increasing the strength of a mounting part against the force applied to the mounting part when an airbag is inflated and developed by reducing the vertical width of the mounting part to mount a side airbag device on a roof side rail. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag body 1 is supported on an inflator 2 by a cylindrical supporting part 13 formed on an upper edge thereof in a range of installing the inflator 2 to fill gas in the airbag body 1, while the airbag body 1 is supported by fastening mounting pieces 12 formed at a predetermined spacing on an upper edge thereof to a roof side rail 4 in the other range.
