PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hall device for an elevator of a base isolated building capable of preventing a person in change of maintenance existing outside a movable side wall of a getting-on/off passage at the time of maintenance and inspection from falling of certainly. SOLUTION: The hall device for the elevator of the base isolated building is structured so that a shaft 5 is formed over the area from one structural part as foundation 2 to another as base isolating structural part 4 supported thereby through a base isolation device and the getting-on/off passage provided between an elevator hall of the structure and an elevator car stopped at the hall makes deformation interlocking with a relative displacement of the two structural parts, wherein the arrangement includes a structure side movable side wall installed on the structure side of the passage, a shaft side movable side wall installed on the shaft 5 side of the passage and forming the side wall of the passage together with the structure side movable side wall, a structure side support and a shaft side support installed outside the structure side movable side wall and interlocking with the structure side and the shaft side, respectively, of the passage, and a fall-off preventive fence installed between the structure side support and the shaft side support and working synchronously with the displacement of the structure side movable side wall and the shaft side movable side wall.
