PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defrosting air conditioner while continuing heating operation, while avoiding an abnormal refrigerant sound with a simple and inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: A bypass circuit 6 is arranged for connecting a part between an indoor heat exchanger 3 of a heat pump type refrigerating cycle and a decompressor 4 and the suction side of a compressor 1. A two-way valve 7 and a refrigerant heater 8 are arranged in the bypass passage 6. When defrosting an outdoor heat exchanger 5, heating is performed by heating a refrigerant by opening the two-way valve 7 of the bypass circuit 6, and defrosting operation is performed by using atmospheric heat by operating an outdoor air blower.
