PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing drying apparatus which is not restricted by the number of unit driers to be installed per a unit area of a floor and where the installing height positions of operation panels and (the handles) of drum doors are set to be positions which is easy to use for a user. SOLUTION: The clothing drying apparatus has the unit driers arranged in the state of vertically two stages. Each unit drier is provided with a drying drum with its rotary shaft as its front/rear direction and the operation panel where an ON/OFF switch, operation setting means for setting a timer, etc. corresponding to the drying drum are collected, and each unit drier is operated independently. The front surface of each unit drier is formed to be a square consisting of four edges proximate to the circumference of the drying drum, and the operation panel of each unit drier is provided at one corner of the square front surface.
