<p>The present invention provides an integrated microcontroller on-chip memory comprising first, second and third portions, wherein: the memory is erasable non-volatile memory; the first portion contains re-connection stub code for connecting the memory to a host computer when the memory is connected to the host computer either via a serial port of the host computer or via a connection media that mimics a serial port; the second portion contains application code; and the third portion contains data that is accessible to said host computer when the host computer is connected to the memory.</p> |
