<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correcting method in which high speed correction and real time correction are realized. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet image correcting method optically measures a test pattern printed by an inkjet head and having a printing pattern of the adjacent nozzle separated and corrects color unevenness, taking into consideration of the density information and positional information of each nozzle using the information of the optical density. The method obtains the optical density information with respect to a position in the arrangement direction of each nozzle by the optical measurement, computes the degree of coloring influence of each nozzle with respect to printing region from the optical density information with respect to a position in the arrangement direction of each nozzle to prepare the correction data of each nozzle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
