<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bio-tissue filler composed of a bioabsorbable material, which offers a sufficient rigidity, efficiently supplies nutriment and expels waste products from tissues by a smooth circulation of a culture solution. <P>SOLUTION: The bio-tissue filler 1 comprises a plurality of tabular filler pieces 2 composed of a bio-absorbable compact material, and a supporting member 3 to support the filler pieces 2 with an interval in the thickness direction.
