<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting nozzle which has a nozzle body formed of a refractory containing magnesia-graphite and an in-nozzle hole body formed of a refractory containing dolomite clinker while these components are directly brought into contact with each other at least in a part thereof, which combines spalling resistance with corrosion resistance thereby suppressing deposition of alumina for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The continuous casting nozzle is constituted in such a way that the nozzle body mainly made up of magnesia and graphite and an in-nozzle hole body arranged in an in-nozzle hole of the nozzle body are directly brought into contact with each other at least in a part thereof, wherein the in-nozzle hole body is formed by adding an organic binder to a blend consisting of, by mass, ≥5% and ≤50% magnesia clinker and the balance dolomite clinker, kneading and molding it then applying heat treatment thereto, and the in-nozzle hole body has an apparent porosity of ≥15% and ≤30%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
