<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold an air-tight state between a high-frequency coupling hole of a waveguide and an air-tightness holding plate-like member for shielding the high-frequency coupling hole of the waveguide even when a pressure of gases within the waveguide increases or even when the inside of the waveguide varies between negative pressure and positive pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A directional coupler is provided in which an outer conductor cover is provided while being electrically short-circuited to an outer wall surface of a waveguide so as to cover a high-frequency coupling hole formed on the waveguide, and a coupling loop to be coupled with high-frequency power within the waveguide is provided inside the outer conductor cover. The directional coupler includes an air-tightness holding plate-like member shielding the high-frequency coupling hole formed on the waveguide, the air-tightness holding plate-like member includes a first lock portion locked on the outer wall surface of the waveguide and a second lock portion locked on an inner wall surface of the waveguide, so that the outer wall surface and the first lock portion can be adhered and the inner wall surface and the second lock portion can be adhered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
