摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce thickness irregularity in a substrate and a transfer layer to uniformize the thicknesses of the substrate and the transfer layer with respect to a flexible transfer body using a curable resin as a transfer material. <P>SOLUTION: The curable resin 13 is applied to the center of rotation of a stamper 12 having a functional shape on its surface or to the vicinity of the center of rotation of the stamper 12 and a flexible film 11 is brought into contact with the surface of the coated resin layer to spread the curable resin 13 to the peripheral end of the stamper 12 by centrifugal force. Air is hardly involved in the curable resin 13 and the film 11 receives stretching force in its radial direction by the centrifugal force at the time of rotation to be arranged in parallel to the stamper 12. The gap between the stamper 12 and the film 11 becomes uniform in thickness by the spreading of the curable resin 13 to the terminal of the stamper 12. Since the film 11 is brought into contact with the coated resin, a protective film 11a is laminated to the surface on the side opposite to the contact surface of the curable resin 13 to be formed into a recessed shape or a U-shape by compression stress. The curable resin 13 is cured by the supply of chemical or heat energy and the cured resin is peeled to obtain a flexible optical disk uniform in thickness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
