PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of improving reading image quality for higher image quality even in constitution that noise of a digital signal system easily exerts adverse effects to an analog system due to a small area of an electric substrate, and to provide also an image processing method and a storage medium. SOLUTION: The image processor comprises: a control means for operating a recorder as a reader; a light detection means included in the reader; a light detection control means for controlling the light detection means; a signal processing means for converting an analog signal detected by the light detection means into a digital signal; and a transfer means for transferring the digital signal to the recorder body: and includes also a control means for controlling operation timing so that the operation timing of an analog signal system is not overlapped to that of a digital signal system.
