PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of simplifying a manufacturing process, improving yield of a frame material, and reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A sealing member sealing peripheral part of a front panel and a back panel to each other has a frame member formed by combining rectangular belt-shaped metal plate having flat cross section, and the frame member is embedded in sealing material. When one metal plate is connected to the other cut metal plate by reversing and rotating the other plate by 90°, the cut-out shape of the metal plate becomes into a shape fitting to each other in hook-shape.
