<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint steel sheet for preventing cracking of basic bricks caused by compressive load, and to provide a method of preventing the cracking of basic bricks caused by compressive load. <P>SOLUTION: This joint steel sheet applied to the basic bricks used in constructing a wall of a kiln, has a thickness of 0.1-0.4 mm, a furnace inner end portion of the joint steel sheet separated from a furnace inner wall surface by a length of an interval, and the length of interval is 0-30 mm, thus the cause of damage of the basic bricks producing FeS by reaction of steel plate and SO<SB>X</SB>when the SO<SB>X</SB>is included in furnace atmosphere, can be solved or reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
