<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device with which the occurrence of density unevenness and staining is suppressed even in image forming at high speed, and a high-grade image can be obtained, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: After image information (signal) is detected (S1), the image area rate (C-col) of the image formed on a photoreceptor 1 of each color is detected (S2). When the image area rate (C-col) of the image of each color is detected, an agitating condition determination table is referred (S3), and the agitating conditions (X-(C-col)) of each color corresponding to the detected image area rate (C-col) of each color are determined. When the agitating conditions (X-(C-col)) of each color are determined, the agitating conditions (X-col) of each development device are respectively changed to the new agitating conditions (X-(C-col)) (S4) and the image is outputted based on the changed agitating conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
