PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which can record a black character image of a high quality level while inhibiting smears and also a color image of high picture quality with a realized reduction of a border bleeding between black and color. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device comprises a means for properly detecting a region high in black duty and a border region between black and color to apply color dots to each region.
