PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic frequency controller capable of shortening an initial pull-in time and maintaining high estimation accuracy at ordinary time. SOLUTION: The combination of a plurality of frequency deviation detection circuits 3a1, 3a2, ..., 3an for performing detection using the different numbers of delay detection symbols is changed in accordance with the variation situation of frequency deviation specified by the state of reception synchronism based on reception frame synchronism information.
