PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for processing data which reduces a required memory size and can normally output format-converted data. SOLUTION: The device includes: a shared ES ring buffer 113 for storing an inputted AES frame, a decoder 120 for decoding the stored AES frame and outputting PCM data, and a packetizer 130 for converting the stored AES frame into an IEC frame and outputting the IEC frame based on an output timing of the PCM data.
