摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate keeping a separating distance between optical axes of an optical curtain by reducing a separating distance between adjacent floodlights and adjacent photoreceivers nearly constant between adjacent multi-optical axis photoelectric sensors when a plurality of multi-optical axis photoelectric sensors are connected with each other. SOLUTION: The multi-optical axis photoelectric sensor includes a multi-optical axis floodlight 1 and a photoreceiver both equipped with elongated outline shapes, with a plurality of optical axes arranged at an equal interval with a predetermined pitch in its longitudinal direction. Each exterior housing of the floodlight and the photoreceiver is structured by a metal housing main body 2 equipped with an equal cross-section shape in a longitudinal direction with both ends opened, and a terminal member 5 coupled with each end of the housing main body 2. The optical axes are arranged at an equal interval with a predetermined pitch on the housing main body 2 and the terminal member 5, and also, an interval d1 between an optical axis placed at an outermost end part among the optical axes included in the terminal member 5 and an end surface of the terminal member 5 is set to be a half or less of a pitch d2 between adjacent optical axes.
