PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle running controller capable of setting a turning velocity suitable to a driver's taste. SOLUTION: The vehicle running controller is provided with: a road curvature information detecting means 8b for detecting the curvature or radius of curvature of a road; a corner detecting means 8c for detecting the existence of a corner in front of the vehicle from the radius of curvature or the curvature of the road; a turning velocity calculating means 8e for calculating a recommended turning velocity of the corner on the basis of the radius of curvature or the curvature of the corner in front of the vehicle, the existence of which is detected by the corner detecting means 8c and a recommended turning horizontal acceleration corresponding to the radius of curvature or the curvature; a target deceleration calculating means 8f for calculating a target deceleration on the basis of the current self-vehicle speed, the recommended turning velocity and distance to the corner; a deceleration control means 8a for controlling to decelerate the vehicle on the basis of the target deceleration; and a turning horizontal acceleration learning means 8g for correcting the recommended turning horizontal acceleration in accordance with an acceleration/deceleration operation in the case of detecting the driver's acceleration/deceleration operation during controlling the deceleration.
