PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a house-to-house receiver whose operability is improved. SOLUTION: The house-to-house receiver comprises: a receiving part 2 having a memory 3; a control part 4; a sound/character information switching switch 5; a loudspeaker 7; a character display 8; a sound recognition device 11; and a microphone 12. A sound input from the microphone 12 is recognized by the sound recognition device 11, and when analysis indicating the implementation of sound output, character display or the combination of sound output and character display is performed, administrative disaster prevention information stored in the memory 3 is outputted in accordance with the analysis.
