PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiving device which is capable of preventing users from selecting digital broadcasting in which data can not be decoded normally. SOLUTION: The receivable digital broadcasts are successively received through a tuner 1, and a one-to-one correspondence between program data and a judgement result that the program data can be decoded or not is obtained for each of the received digital broadcasts and stored in a RAM 7. When the desired receiving object is selected by a user, a broadcasting station name and a program name are formed as detailed information indicating the details of the receiving object and displayed on a display 13. In a case in which the detailed information is displayed, when it is judged that broadcasts and programs can not be decoded, the broadcast names and the program names are not displayed. Alternatively, when broadcasts and programs which are judged that they can not be decoded are selected by users, the users are warned that the broadcasts and the programs can not be decoded.
