PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus with a recorder for carrying out ink jet recording that is downsized and carries out image reading with high accuracy by preventing ink mist from being sneaked into a reader part. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is configured such that (1) an image reader is arranged between a print means and a confluent point of an original carrying path through which paper is fed from an original paper feed roller and a recording paper carrying path through which recorded paper is supplied from a recording paper feed roller, (2) a structure for holding the print means is arranged between the print means and the image reader, and (3) the recording paper feed roller and the original paper feed roller are configured by the same paper feed roller, and by forwarding/reversing the paper feed roller, the original paper feeding/the recording paper feeding are controlled.
