PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method of joining 2 kinds of ceramic members, particularly one of which is polycrystalline alumina (PCA) ceramic, to each other. SOLUTION: In the joining of 2 kinds of ceramic-made members, slurry of Al2O3powder in a Y(NO3)3solution is prepared and is arranged the slurry in a liquid, solid or vaporized state to be in contact with the 2 kinds of ceramic-made members and heated to a temperature at which the 2 kinds of ceramic-made members are joined to each other.
