METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INORGANIC MOLDED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inorganic molded body capable of preventing the occurrence of dryout by sufficiently restraining the curing inhibition due to increased concentration of an emulsifier caused by volatilization of water from the surface layer of a molded body upon curing and hardening when molding a cement-based molding material comprising a reverse emulsion composition containing cement, water and an oily material and curing/hardening to manufacture the inorganic molded body. SOLUTION: This method comprises using the emulsifier obtained by reacting sorbitol with a fatty acid containing lauric acid. Such an emulsifier scarcely causes the curing inhibition of the cement-based molding material. Thereby, even when water evaporates from the surface of the molded body upon its curing and hardening to increase the concentration of the emulsifier, curing can be performed sufficiently.
