PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner having a floor brush suppressed in air passage loss. SOLUTION: A case body 11 is provided with a connection pipe portion 12 communicating with a suction port and an air intake port 53, respectively, and communicating with the suction side of an electric fan. A turbine chamber 55 passing suction air therethrough from the air intake port 53 to the connection pipe portion 12 is provided with an air turbine 27a rotated by the passage of the suction air. The suction air passed through the air turbine 27a is substantially linearly conducted to the connection pipe portion 12 by an air-conducting wall portion 68, so that the suction air is sucked into the connection pipe portion 12 while the air passage loss is suppressed.
