The arrangement comprises a housing (6) incorporating a saddle element (2) to be attached to the pipe (1), the branch (5) to be connected to the pipe (1) and a tool (4) pushed by a spindle (9) in order to cut a lateral opening into the pipe (1). The tool (4) is screwed to the front of the tappet (13) connected to the spindle with its rear end (13~). When the spindle (9) is rotated the tool (4) is moved simultaneously. The valve head (11) is joined to the tappet (13) with an adjustable slide bearing. |
