A heat insulation container that exhibits excellent heat insulation properties, whose outer circumferential surface can be formed in an undulated shape with the shape of the inner circumferential surface assuring smooth drinking, and on whose outer peripheral surface appropriate printing is performed in order to enhance decorative effect. The heat insulation container having a tubular container body (1) with a bottom for containing food F, where the container (1) is provided with an exterior body (2) having a tubular barrel section (20) covering a circumferential wall (11) of the container body (1) and where a heat insulation space is formed between the barrel section (20) of the exterior body (2) and the circumferential wall (11). The exterior body (2) is formed by thermal shrinkage of a previously printed resin sheet S having heat contraction properties and is formed such that at least either a region whose longitudinal cross-section has a non-linear shape or a region whose transverse cross-section has a non-annular shape is provided at at least a part of the outer circumference of the barrel section (20).
