SAFETY SWITCH

A safety switch with a lock function, capable of, even if an actuator is forcibly retreated from a switch body while the safety switch is locked, reliably detecting the retreating of the actuator from the switch body. Even if an actuator (3) is forcibly pulled out, with rotation of a drive cam (15) locked, to break at least one of a cutout (15b) or a lock body (80), rendering the drive cam (15) rotatable, a cam curve section (15c) of the drive cam (15) and an operation rod (21) are not broken and stays in a normal condition. Therefore, normally closed contacts (39, 40) of a contact (70) are normally set to the open position by rotating the drive cam (15) in the counterclockwise direction, and this enables retreating of the actuator (3) from the switch body (1) to be reliably detected even if the actuator (3) is retreated from the switch body (1) by force exceeding breaking strength of the safety switch.
