<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual binding and tightening tool improved so as to be capable of simply and easily performing the binding work of a wire harness placed on a supporting substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The binding and tightening tool A comprises a tip holding part 5 to hold a head part 2 of a binding band V, a tightening mechanism (a) to pull a band part 1 passed through the head part 2 by the finger force, an operation unit b to perform the finger operation of the tightening mechanism (a), and a tool body 6 to support the tip holding part 5, the tightening mechanism (a), and the operation unit b.
