<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a display system for displaying a diagram and a text including the explanation text of the diagram in displaying a document including the diagram and the text, and for always easily contrasting the text with the diagram. <P>SOLUTION: A document display device for displaying the document including the text and the diagram relative to the text on a display screen 101 is provided with a logical structure analyzing part 208 for analyzing the document, and for deciding the relevancy of the text and diagram included in the document and a layout processing part 210 for controlling display timing on a display screen 101 of the text and the diagram included in the document, and for matching the display period of the predetermined diagram with the display period of the text decided to be relevant to the diagram by the logical structure analyzing part 208, and for approximating and arranging both the diagram and the text. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
