<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium container designed so as to prevent invasion of disease germs, sterilize disease germs, and prevent contaminants or moss to which the disease germs easily adhere from accumulating or generating. <P>SOLUTION: The culture medium container is structured so that multifunctional coating comprising a titanium oxide or an oxidized titanium alloy doped with carbon in Ti-C bond condition, is provided on at least part of the surface of the container. Specifically, the culture medium container is provided with exposed layers where a large number of micropillars composed of the titanium oxide or the oxidized titanium alloy stand together on the surface of the multifunctional coating; wherein the micropillars are composed of the titanium oxide or the oxidized titanium alloy doped with carbon in Ti-C bond condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
