<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium which is almost free from a generated dent or a density change, even when the recording medium is repeatedly used, highly durable, has rapid color erasability with practicable thermal head erasure within a broad environmental range and high developed color shelf stability, and a member which constitutes the recording medium with a reversible thermal recording layer and an information storage part, a label with the reversible thermal recording layer, an image processing method which can form/erase a color developed image in the reversible thermal recording medium, the member and the label, and an image processing device. <P>SOLUTION: This reversible thermal recording medium comprises an electron-donative coloring compound and an electron-receptive compound used on the surface of a support and a reversible thermal recording layer containing a reversible heat-sensitive composition which can relatively create a color developed state and a color erased state due to the difference in heating temperature and/or the cooling rate after heating, wherein at least one kind selected between phenol compounds represented by formula (1) and formula (2), is used as the electron-receptive compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
