<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent complicated labors from being required to an operator, when operation programs and various kinds of information are updated at a navigation terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation server 12 generates updating information for indicating updating work in the navigation terminal 11 to be transmitted to a broadcasting station 14, when updating map information, positional information, traffic information and a program operated by the navigation terminal 11 stored in an information server 13. The broadcasting station 14 broadcasts the updating information by satellite digital broadcasting. The navigation terminal 11, receiving the broadcasting, is automatically connected to the navigation server 12 via a cellular communication line (telephone line), based on the updating information, to acquire an updated program and updated various kind of information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
