摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that concrete consumption required for the construction of lining concrete is increased because the lining concrete has to be thickened in a conventional ECL construction method. SOLUTION: In this tunnel construction method, a tunnel is formed as follows: digging is performed by excavating natural ground 20 by means of a shield machine 1; and primary lining concrete 90 is constructed by pouring freshly mixed concrete 80 between an inner peripheral surface 33 of an excavated hole 21 and an inner form 30 provided in the rear of the shield machine 1. The concrete 90 is constructed in such a manner that the thickness of the concrete 90 is set at 100 mm or more, equivalent to≥1% and <5% of the inside diameter dimension of the tunnel to be constructed. After the concrete 90 is constructed by a predetermined length, the stability of the natural ground 20 corresponding to a section of the concrete 90 after construction is checked.
