PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer woven fabric excellent in warmth-keeping property and cushioning property and having body, at a low cost. SOLUTION: This multilayer woven fabric is provided by being constituted with an upper part base cloth 1 of a woven fabric consisting of a warp yarn 1a and weft yarn 1b, and a lower part base cloth 2 of a woven fabric consisting of also the same warp yarn 2a and weft yarn 2b, weaving a pile yarn 3 used for the upper part base cloth in the upper part base cloth and lower part base cloth as zigzag shape, and weaving a pile yarn 4 used for the lower part base cloth in the lower part base cloth and upper part base cloth as zigzag shape to form a spaceαformed by the pile yarns between the upper and lower part base clothes.
