PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecular membrane structure requiring preparation of only one kind of linker molecules, having a simple process, capable of using existing molecules, not reducing the integration degree of functional molecules, and not having a possibility of being contaminated by bonding of unnecessary molecules. SOLUTION: This molecular membrane structure comprises (A) a molecular membrane 20 comprising the first molecular membrane domain 22 constituted of a molecule 21 whose one end has a maleimide group and whose other end is bonded to a substrate 10 and the second molecular membrane domain 23 constituted of a molecule 21 whose one end has a polymerized maleimide group and whose other end is bonded to the substrate 10, and (B) an acceptor molecule 30 whose one end has a thiol group, wherein the maleimide group carried on one end of the molecule 21 constituting the first molecular membrane domain 22 is bonded to the thiol group.
