PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner having excellent properties of suppressing a negative ghost, low temperature fixing and offset resistance without inducing fogging even in a high speed printer. SOLUTION: The toner comprises toner particles containing at least a binder resin and a magnetic material, and further contains, separately from the binder resin, a polyester resin (A) having 60 to 100°C melting point measured by DSC and 1,000 to 7,000 number average molecular weight by 2 mass% to 5 mass%. In the toner particles, toner particles having 3μm to 400μm circular equivalent diameters measured by a flow type particle image analyzer shows the average circularity of 0.935 or more and less than 0.970. The average surface roughness of the toner particles measured by a scanning probe microscope is 5.0 nm or more and less than 35.0 nm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
