An unsaturated polyester resin composition for lamp reflectors which is excellent both in surface smoothness, dimensional accuracy, moldability, heat resistance, and mechanical strength and in coatability; and moldings thereof. An unsaturated polyester resin composition for lamp reflectors which comprises (a) an unsaturated polyester resin, (b) dially phthalate monomer or prepolymer, (c) a radical-polymerizable unsaturated monomer other than dially phthalate, (d) polystyrene and/or a styrene/vinyl acetate block copolymer, and (e) a styrene/diene block copolymer and/or a product of hydrogenation or modification thereof, wherein the total content of the components (b) and (c) and that of the components (d) and (e) are 20 to 60 parts by mass and 13 to 34 parts by mass respectively per 100 parts by mass of the total sum of the components (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e) and the (b)/(c) mass ratio and the (d)/(e) mass ratio lie between 5:95 and 25:75 and between 20:80 and 80:20 respectively. |
