<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium, especially an inkjet recording medium, capable of forming a high-density image in high resolution, having excellent waterproof properties, hardly causing temporal bleeding even when being preserved for a long period in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment after printing, having excellent resistance to ozone and capable of keeping the image stably; and to provide a polymer suitably usable for the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer has at least a unit represented by general formula (1) or (2) (in the formulas, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>4</SB>are each independently an alkyl group substituted with an ammonio group or an amino group; R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an aryl-substituted alkyl group, each of which may have a substituent; at least two of R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>, or R<SB>4</SB>and R<SB>5</SB>may form a cyclic structure by bonding to each other; and X is a counter anion). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
