<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass fuel combustion device capable of improving heat exchanger effectiveness by increasing combustion efficiency of biomass fuel and to effectively utilize resources by partially circulating combustion airstream to be mixed with suction airstream, raising a temperature of suction airstream, and lowering oxygen concentration of combustion airstream exhausted to the external. <P>SOLUTION: This biomass fuel combustion device comprises an exhaust pathway 33 having a collecting portion 31 in an exhaust portion 6 to collect ash generated in combustion and guide the same to the exhaust portion 6 with the combustion airstream, and exhausting the combustion airstream to the external by a combustion airstream directing configuration 32, and a circulating pathway 34 for circulating the combustion airstream to a combustion chamber 2 again. The combustion airstream directing configuration 32 detects a concentration of oxygen or carbon dioxide by a concentration sensor 35 mounted on the exhaust pathway 33, and operates the combustion airstream directing configuration 32 on the basis of a set value to adjust amounts of combustion airstream to the exhaust pathway 33 and that to the circulating pathway 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
